Best no kneed pizza dough EVER!
I have an awesome recipe for you! No lie, just try!
It's so easy and quick really...
Pull it out of the cupboard... it does all the work and best of all you can shove all the parts in the dishwasher afterwards. Except perhaps the bowl if it takes too much space but.. so what one thing to wash ain't bad!
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons fast rise yeast
3/4 teaspoons salt
3/4 to a 1 cup hot water (not boiling but hot)* see tip
2 teaspoons olive oil
Process Flour, yeast and salt til blended well in food processor. Then when still running add water and oil til it goes in to a ball.
Grab a bowl and drizzle olive oil in the bottom.
Throw you dough straight in the bowl and turn it til all sides are covered in oil. Grab a clean tea towel and cover set aside for 10min. This dough will make 2x reasonable sized pizza bases.
No mucking around with kneeding necessary. Simply grab a sheet of baking paper and lay it on. Then work with the palm of your hands into the desired size and shape.
Repeat the process to gain as many pizza's as you need. I'll typically do it 3 times and get about six adult pizza's as we like left overs. Of the kids like mini ones so it can do 2x mini's instead of a large.
Also you can keep the dough in the fridge and use the next day and cook fresh,
TIP: With the water if you use boiling kettle water it can be too hot and the dough might not rise as well. It still works though, it's just not as fluffy an outcome as if you go with hot 70/boiling/30 room temp or cold roughly.
My tip is to use about 2/3 cup boiling water and 1/3 cold/room temp tap water as an example.
If you need to add more water to processor because its a bit dry you can just do it as needed using a few tablespoons of tap water.
This is a recipe I use over and over again weekly. It's such an easy 'go too' recipe and you can change it up with toppings based on what you have available in your fridge.
Best of all it's an easy and fun entertainer. The kids can get involved too and they love adding their own toppings.
What's my topping?
Drizzle with olive olive for the base
Zucchini Ribbons - just peel with a peeler in slices raw
Red onion - I caramelise mine with balsamic and coconut sugar and cook over pan til golden so aromatic - YUM!
Goats Cheese crumbed on top
Roasted pine nuts - just toss on a dry fry pan til golden
Touch of seasoning with sea salt and pepper and a sprinkling of chilli flakes.
Sensational. Won't disappoint. Enjoy!
